Privacy
The Needlery is a small, independent project, made by needlepointers for the needlepoint community. We want you to feel comfortable sharing your email with us, so here is plainly what we collect and why.
What we collect when you join the launch list
- Your email address.
- Your answers to the follow-up questions, if you choose to answer any. Every question is optional.
- Which link brought you here (for example, a tag we add to links we share in a Facebook group), and the name of the website you came from, if any.
- The date you signed up.
We don't ask for your name or location. To keep out bots, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a real browser is submitting the form, and we use your IP address briefly to limit repeated submissions. We don't store your IP address with your signup.
How we use it
- To email you when the Needlery opens, and occasionally with updates before then.
- To decide what to build first, based on what stitchers tell us.
- If you offered to be a founding seller or early tester, to reach out to you personally.
What we don't do
- We never sell or rent your email or answers.
- We don't use advertising trackers or tracking cookies.
- We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn't use cookies or track you across other sites.
Where it's kept
Your signup is stored in the Needlery's own database, hosted on Cloudflare. When the Needlery opens and you create an account with the same email, we'll connect your signup to your account so your answers carry over.
Your choices
Every email we send will include a way to unsubscribe. To have your signup and answers deleted, or to see what we have, email hello@theneedlery.com and we'll take care of it.
